Click4Group Car Warranty - Car Warranty For A BMW.

BMW - Their vehicles range from the City One Series to high flying luxury Seven Series.

Stylish, elegant, refined and every bit as desirable as the petrol 320i is not what I expected to hear people say about any BMW diesel car 10 years ago. How wrong we all were to so quickly dismiss the diesel as a second class engine, left to power generators and utility vehicles!

The current BMW range essentially breaks down into eight categories, or BMW Series. These include: BMW Series 1, Series 3, Series 5, Series 6, Series 7, X3, Z4, and M.

BMW are considered as one of the most successful manufacturers today. They constantly produce cars that excel & that are perfect for the executive market especially the 3 series which has been around now for more than 30 years. We here at Click4Warranty provide used car warranties to many BMW owners across the UK.

The 320d has still got the look of the original, but keeping inline with ever changing trends & contemporary feels. It is a good looking car, with its recognisable features including the twin headlights, rear light clusters & shark’s fin aerial. It is now in its fifth generation, most recently launched in 2005, it is 49mm longer, 6mm taller & 78mm wider than its predecessors. It must be a good decision.

But how about the interior? As with all BMW's, it maintains the quality inside. Spacious & comfortable, as always. The leather upholstery however, will cost you more. The information display is instantly familiar, with its single instrument binnacle showing the speedometer & rev counter. The boot is now a staggering 460 litre capacity. There is also 7mm more headroom in the front & 19mm more legroom in the back, all thanks to the extra length & width of the new model. The entry ES models come with alloy wheels, a CD player, four electric windows & air-conditioning, but you have to upgrade to SE to get dual-zone climate control, cruise control & reversing sensors. Top of the range M Sport feature a muscular body kit, larger alloy wheels, lowered suspension, sports front seats & brushed aluminium interior trim

All of the 3 Series engines now come with Efficient Dynamics energy-saving measures, so no matter which model, it is in the fore front for fuel economy & CO2 emissions. This car is also excellent to handle. It responds quickly & has a strong (175bhp), yet smooth performance. It also has grip, sharpness & accuracy whilst driving & taking corners. The suspension is firm & you know when you pass over something, but it is not a jolting or uncomfortable. The 3 Series is a quiet car so long distance cruising is great. The 0-62mph is done in just over 8 seconds & reaches 140mph & up to 150mph, previously unheard of for a diesel. It manages 50-60mpg, group insurance 14 & £135 annual tax. It is also possible to choose between three year/36,000 mile or five year/60,000 mile service options.

The Driver aid Dynamic Stability Control, makes it leading edge safety technology, while the six airbags give extra protection. The all new run-flat tyres, enable you to travel up to 150 miles at 50mph in the event of a puncture. The 3-series also benefits from BMW’s Active Steering which, in the event of under steer corrects the car. It also has electronic brakeforce distribution & deadlocks. It achieved a full five star rating following its Euro NCAP crash test.

In SE trim the 320d costs £24,390, or just £1,800 more than a similarly specified 320i. It offers more power (163bhp v 150bhp) & acceleration (0-62mph in 8.3sec v 9sec). It’s not that often that you find a diesel model out powering and out accelerating the petrol model is it? The BMW 320d has an excellent four cylinder 1995cc engine, 153g/km of CO2. It will also depreciate much more slowly.

Undoubtedly one if not the best saloon in its class available on today's market.
