    •  ENGINE
      The rocker assembly, including hydraulic followers, inlet and exhaust valves [not burnt valves], springs and guides, cylinder head [not cracks and de-coking or porous heads], cylinder head gasket [except skim], push rods, camshaft and followers, timing gears and chains [excluding tensioner], oil pump, pistons and rings, cylinder bores [excluding porous bores], con rods, gudgeon pins and bearings, crankshaft and bearings, inlet manifold, flywheel and ring gear, timing belts are covered as long as they have been changed in accordance with the manufacturers schedules. In the event of a claim YOU will be required to provide proof that the timing belts have been changed in line with the manufacturer's schedules. Failure to do so may invalidate YOUR claim.

      Internal gears, internal shaft, synchromesh hubs, selectors, bearings and bushes and transfer gears.

      Steering rack and pinion [not gaiters], steering box, idler box, power steering rack and pump
    •  ELECTRICAL SYSTEM
      Starter motor and solenoid including pre-engagement mechanism and bendix drive , alternator, diode pack, coil voltage regulator , indicator relay, front windscreen wiper and washer motors are covered up to a maximum of £100 per claim including VAT.

      Coil springs
    •  CASINGS
      If any of the covered PART(s) fail and this damages the casings, the casings will also be covered
    •  WORKING MATERIALS
      Oils, oil filter , anti-freeze and working materials are covered only if it is essential to replace them because of the failure of a PART(s) which is covered under this POLICY 
    •  FOUR WHEEL DRIVE 4X4 COVER
      Subject selecting the optional 4X4 cover and an additional premium being paid, the policy will insure all of the mechanical and electrical components of their vehicles 4 wheel drive system against a breakdown, except for those components specifically listed in section 11 of the policy terms and conditions under the heading of "What this mechanical breakdown insurance does not cover".
    •  TURBO CHARGER (FACTORY FITTED)
      Subject selecting the optional Turbo cover and an additional premium being paid, the policy will insure the turbo charger unit.
    •  AIR CONDITIONING (FACTORY FITTED)
       Subject selecting the optional Airconditioning cover and an additional premium being paid the policy will insure the air conditioning compressor unit.
    •  ANTI LOCKING BRAKE SYSTEM (ABS) (FACTORY FITTED)
      Subject selecting the optional ABS cover and an additional premium being paid the policy will insure the ABS modulator and sensors.

    It's hard to believe that consumers are still being exposed to online unregulated companies selling uninsured car warranty!  Terms promising total cover and unlimited claims become worthless if the company declines the claim as there's no Ombudsman to help.  If a company sells an uninsured plan, they have the final say!

    Click4Warranty is authorised and regulated by the FCA (formally known as the FSA) and all our policies are insurance backed giving you the additional protection of the FSCS.  This means, we report to the FCA on a regular basis throughout the year about our products, solvency and service levels. 

    Should you be unhappy with any decision we make, you are entitled to complain to the Financial Ombudsman Service (FOS).  When this happens, we will immediately be required to make a payment, whether or not they uphold your complaint.  Their decision is final and we must abide by it.  We believe these rigorous requirements save you having to be an expert to know our warranties really are worth the paper they’re printed on!

    Day One Cover

    Cover is from day one, even for wear and tear.  But in the unlikely event in the first 30 days you make a claim under ECU, air-conditioning, or the electrical system, then there is an early claim excess of 50%.  This doesn’t apply after 30 days or to any other listed components. 

    Wear & Tear Included As Standard From Day One

    Your Click4Warranty policy WILL pay toward the cost of repairs if an insured part fails as a result of wear and tear...  FROM DAY ONE!  This means, valid claims are considered in the normal way even if it is found the part has failed due to wear and tear.  Typically other warranty companies have a three month exclusion or even exclude wear and tear altogether.  In the unlikely event in the first 30 days you make a claim under ECU, air-conditioning, or the electrical system, then there is an early claim excess of 50%.  This doesn’t apply after 30 days or to any other listed components. (WEAR & TEAR GUIDE)

    No Service History?

    Whether your vehicle has full, partial or no service history, you can still benefit from our warranty protection.  All you have to do is carry out a manufacturer's service or an alternative five point service schedule within 21 days or 500 miles (whichever is sooner).  (SERVICE GUIDE)

    Servicing Requirements During Warranty Cover

    If a service is completed within the last 12 months by a VAT registered garage and it is correctly stamped in the service book (or you have the invoice), then a you can choose to follow on from that service according to the manufacturer’s service interval.  However, we don't insist on expensive franchised dealer servicing.  If you prefer, at intervals of 6 months or 6,000 miles (whichever is the sooner) you can elect the alternative 5 point check.  (SERVICE GUIDE)

    No Increase In Premium For High Mileage Vehicles

    Our warranties are extremely popular for high mileage vehicles because we cover failure of an insured part due to wear and tear... FROM DAY ONE!   Generally, you will find warranty providers penalise high mileage car drivers irrespective of whether a claim is made or not by increasing the premium.  Click4warranty don't.  Instead, only if your car has covered over 60,000 miles do we ask for a contribution toward betterment in the event of a claim.  Not unreasonable as the car is in better condition than it was before.  (BETTERMENT GUIDE)

    Lowest Claim Excess

    Our policies have one of the lowest standard claim excess available in the market today at just £10 per claim.  If your car has covered less than 60,000 miles we will settle 100% parts, labour and vat (subject to the policy terms and claim limit).  Over 60,000 miles we ask for a contribution toward betterment.  (BETTERMENT GUIDE)

    Choice Of Claim Limits

    All Click4Warranty policies offer a £3,000, per claim, limit as standard.  For a small increase in premium this can be upgraded to either £5000 or £7000 per claim.  Whichever you choose, this represents the maximum amount that can be claimed for each breakdown.  The amount of claims that can be made is unlimited.  As with all responsible Insurers, the total amount settled during the course of the policy term cannot exceed the Glass's Guide retail value of the car.

    Claims Handled Over The 'Phone

    The claims process is simple, handled by telephone and we deal with the garage on your behalf.  All you need to do is call the claims line.  Claims are administered by the UK’s leading provider of motor related insurance products to the motor trade and all calls are dealt with by NVQ qualified engineers. (CONTACT DETAILS)

    Claims Settled Directly With The Repairer

    Wherever possible, to avoid your being out of pocket, we will settle authorised claims directly with the repairer (FIND OUT MORE)

    Peace Of Mind Valid Claims Will Always Be Paid

    With Click4Warranty you can rest assured that, unlike some online companies, we are FCA Regulated and all our policies are insurance backed.  This means, your claim will be protected by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme, a statutory fund of last resort set up under the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000 to compensate customers of authorised financial services firms in the event of their insolvency.

    The FSCS is free to consumers and, since 2001, has helped more than 4.5 million people and paid out more than £26 billion.  A clear warning was sent out recently as to why the FCA urge consumers to purchase regulated insured policies.  On 28th July 2016, the FSCS declared Enterprise Insurance Company PLC in default, therefore if the FSCS establishes Enterprise cannot meet the cost of claims made against it, they will protect UK policyholders. (FIND OUT MORE)

    Use Our Approved Repairer Or Your Own Vat Registered Garage

    We’ve appointed the UK’s leading independent car service and repair network, Halfords Autocentres, who provide nationwide cover through hundreds of garages across the UK with more ATA trained mechanics than any other independent garage.  Repairs are guaranteed for 12 months or 12,000 miles. 

    If you prefer to nominate your own repairer, simply contact the Administrator for authority before work starts, but remember you may not be at home if you breakdown!  

    The policy will pay a reasonable vat registered repairer’s retail price for parts, labour times as set out by ICME (INSTITUTE CHARTERED MECHANICAL ENGINEERS) and up to the LABOUR RATE of our approved repairers. (FIND OUT MORE)

    Complaints Process

    If you feel we haven't provided the service you expected, we do of course value the opportunity to put things right straight away.  However, unlike some online companies, Click4Warranty is Authorised and Regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) (formally known as the FSA) and all policies are insurance backed giving you the additional protection of the FSCS.  This means, we report to the FCA on a regular basis throughout the year about our products, solvency and service levels. 

    If a policy holders is unhappy with our response or decision, they are entitled to complain to the Financial Ombudsman Service (FOS).  When this happens, we would immediately have to make a payment, whether or not they uphold the complaint.  Their decision is final and we must abide by it. (COMPLAINT PROCESS)

    Cover For Failure Of Insured Parts Identified During MOT Or Service

    Helping our policy holders to drive a safe and roadworthy car is at the core of our business culture.  For this reason, we encourage policy holders to stop driving as soon as they believe their may be a fault.  Our Claims Technicians follow Treating Customers Fairly (TCF) guidelines from the FCA.  Therefore, if it’s agreed an insured component is faulty during routine maintenance or MOT, the claim will be processed in the normal way. (CLAIM PROCESS)

    Policy Transfer To New Owner

    A warranty is a valuable selling tool if you decide to sell your car and the warranty may be transferred to the new owner.  Simply call us to request the transfer and we will transfer the balance of your policy to the new owner.  We do require a £25 contribution from you toward the administration costs and conditions do apply (for example we can't transfer the policy if you sell your car to a motor dealer).

    Unlimited Number Of Claims

    You can make an unlimited number of claims and we will apply your selected claim limit to "each claim".  The maximum amount we will pay in total during the term of the policy is set at the Glass's Guide retail value of your car at the time of claim.

    21 Day Cancellation

    Unlike many providers we allow 21 days (not the standard 14) from the date the policy was purchased to cancel the policy and receive a FULL refund (as long as you haven't submitted a claim of course).

    Replacement Car Hire Included

    Up to £30 a day towards the cost of a replacement vehicle while your car is being repaired.

    European Cover Included

    Up to 60 days cover for driving in the Republic of Ireland and mainland Europe.

    Parts, Labour And Vat

    Your Click4Warranty policy pays toward the costs of parts and labour for repair or replacement of an insured component.

    Vehicle Recovery Included

    Up to £100 towards the cost of recovery to the repairing garage

    No Annual Mileage Restrictions

    Click4Warranty policies have no limit to the annual mileage you drive, your vehicle will be protected until it has covered 150,000 miles.

    Overnight Accommodation And Rail Fares Included

    Up to £60 towards hotel expenses or a return rail ticket.

    What Don't Your Warranties Cover?

    Unlike many warranty providers, we steer away from broad statements about the parts covered by our policies.  To describe cover as all mechanical and electrical components means that, if you want to be sure a part is covered, you need to laboriously work out what really is excluded.  Instead, you will see our terms and conditions comprehensively list the insured parts and, quite simply, if a part isn't listed it isn't covered... If it is listed, then the part is covered!

    Obvious exclusions are batteries, wheels; tyres; exhausts; catalytic converters; and worn out clutches & brakes.  As well as damage to bodywork or paintwork; glass and headlights.  Also some electrical items may not be covered such as: aerials; batteries; and microphones & loud speakers.     Fuel Types

    Electric and hybrid cars are excluded.  Our policies can be purchased for LPG, LMG and CNG systems.  However, claims would not be accepted for any consequential damage to the LPG, LMG or CNG systems caused by the failure of an insured part or for damage to an insured part where an LPG, LMG or CNG systems was deemed to be the cause of the failure.

    Excluded Car Use

    Hire or reward, taxi, self drive hire, by a driving school, commercial delivery purposes such as despatch or delivery courier; with a carrying capacity exceeding 35cwt, service vehicles (police, ambulance etc), used for any kind of competitive purposes, off road use, customised or fitted with equipment not approved by the manufacturer.

    Maximum Age / Mileage / CC

    Click4Warranty polcies cover cars up to 150,000 miles, 12 years and 5000cc.  Cover will cease when any of these are reached.
